War is hell and you don’t try to make it nice. Most of what we call Europe today would not exist had they not totally surrendered, and it has and always will be a tactic of war to starve a people into surrender, you don’t keep your enemy healthy so the war can continue. To keep your enemy healthy enough to continue killing you is insane. Part of warfare is to cut off their supplies that is unless you’re Jewish then it is forbidden.
When you have an enemy who has but one goal, your total destruction and death, you don’t get nice, you get mean and stay that way until you win the war, they surrender and then you can talk about peace.
And when you do go to war you don’t send 600 heavy artillery shells into empty fields and a few into empty buildings when they are sending their missiles into your populated civilian towns. And when they send their young people into your public places like café’s and buses to kill your family and friends, bombing empty fields and buildings just won’t get it.
So why am I saying this, because that is what is happening here in Israel. This Olmert (Kadima) liberal government who appointed a man to be Defense Minister with no experience for the job is running this war. With all the hundreds of shells sent into northern Gaza no Palestinian have killed by way of this shelling. And you can be certain before we bombed the office of the PA Prime Minister they were warned to get out of the building. And once again like a thousand other times over the past 5 years no one was killed even through the building was in the middle of Gaza City. What is this we fight a nice war and they fight a dirty one?
We want our kidnapped IDF soldier back of that there is no doubt, and we intend to get him back. But why is there so little mention of the 18 year old that in the middle of all this was kidnapped by some Abbas’ terrorists tortured, burned and shot in the head. Now Hamas is giving Israel until 6: A.M. Tuesday to release all the Hamas prisoners or else.
Many of us here in Israel would like to know why hasn’t the IDF gone after the one who Washington keeps telling us is our peace partner, (Abbas). We all know he is part of the problem just as Arafat before him and co-partners with Hamas and Islamic Jihad. But the truth is, it is George Bush who must be kept happy not the Israeli people. After all so many of us have been killed, what is one or two more a week? But then that seems to have been the thinking over the past century when they killed 6 million of us, so nothing has changed. For even during the Holocaust there were Rabbi’s who used that same logic, causing many Jews to be led into the death camps. Today we have the same kind of thinking coming out of the Knesset nourished by none other than Ariel Sharon and now his crony Ehud Olmert.
It’s like watching a war made for TV, with the proper amount of commercial breaks, so the news medias can catch up on all the gory details. There was an article in the Jerusalem Post a few days ago that said the IDF Special Forces were all sitting around some Humvees and making jokes about how the tanks were are gathered in line and positioned for the cameras in order to get some good press, and the show was about to begin.
While all this is going on all we hear is how terrible it is that the horrible humanitarian crisis is happening before our very eyes, and how the poor “Palestinians” are starving. But the truth is these poor Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians” have always been on the welfare of the world, they have never been able or even willing to feed themselves. The only way they can get more help than they usually get from Israel who has always supported them is to start another war and call it an intifada. Then it makes no difference how outrageous the lies are they tell CNN, BBC and others, after all it makes for good ratings.
Large groups of journalists sit around in the American Colony Hotel in East Jerusalem, and watch their work on the News, and when one of them make a point that looks in favor of the “Palestinians” everyone applauds, but if something is mentioned that doesn’t look so good for their host who own the Hotel (Arabs) everyone is very quiet. It’s like a game and it keeps a lot of these folks working and living in a nice Arab owned Hotel in East Jerusalem where they can have a five star dinner with belly dancers around their tables.
In the mean time this terrible war goes on and more Jews are murdered, even kidnapped and tortured and then shot in the head, often their bodies dragged through the streets behind a car while these Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians” spit and kick the dead body, then they pass out candy and continue to dance, but that isn’t called a war crime or even a crime, after all who cares they just killed another Jew.
While over the past few months since the Sharon Disengagement we have had thousands of Kassam rockets fired at us from inside the Gaza Strip, they have dug tunnels to kill our soldiers and have tried hundreds of times to get suicide bombers into our cities. While Israel has no one to talk to concerning any possible peace because the so-called “Palestinians” voted in a terrorist organization to represent them who openly says they have but one goal, the total destruction of Israel. Yet if you watch the evening news you will soon find out that all this is Israel’s fault, and these poor blood thirsty Islamic Arabs are innocent, that is as long as they are only killing Jews.
I am sure you recognize the fact that I could go on and on, but you have the idea by now. It’s just a wonder how all this can be put on the back of Israel when all they want to do is have peace. (Shalom).
Ministry
Many wonderful things are happening, wonderful simply because we are watching the Ruach Ha Koddesh (Holy Spirit) move in supernatural ways, putting things together in ways we would have never even been able to think of. I think in the natural I feel a certain guilt as we still haven’t purchased the larger boat. It seems that every time we get close to doing so God gives us a very clear check in the spirit. It is then we get more information that clearly shows us that the boat we need is even larger than the one we are looking at. We started looking at 65 to 70 foot Turkish Gullets, and now it seems that a 70 footer would be to small. Even though it is impossible at this time to know how many we will have to arrange passage for, one thing is certain we will need a larger boat, and even the help of other boats when it comes time. God has done a miracle in putting us together with others who already have charter fleets and for a price will be available. That also means we must have the finances on hand for there would be very little time to raise the needed finances in time, with no internet and possible even no mail. The time for Believers to be obedient to the touch of the Ruach Ha Koddesh is NOW.
With the Iranian crisis and the North Korea crisis both ready to explode at the same time and the US troops spread to thin already this world as we know it can make a very quick change. As serious as this situation is in Israel with these Arabs and their Demonic Islamic hatred, in a way it could and most likely is a smoke screen to what is about to happen globally. But for those of us who are called we must be about the task sit before us. God has called wild olive branches to be blessed as they come to the aid of the natural root. The way I understand it and believe it, it is not just an obligation or a sacrifice to reach out to save Jewish lives but to be called by God to do this only means you have been chosen to be blessed. Gen. 12:3. For only a few are being called to this Ministry and for them it may be the largest decision they will ever have to make. For few have any idea how serious this is, and how serious it is about to become. And when it all breaks it will be to late to support this or any other ministry here in Israel.
It seems at this time the main reason for purchasing the larger boat is to make it possible to negotiate in the right places here in Israel. For no one will listen until you have something on the ground (in this case on the water) saying you are able to do what you say you can do. If you will take a few minutes and search the net for used motorsailers over 70 feet you will discover what we are up against. I have found some within our reach but it would take every cent we have just for the purchase. It is also very important that the boat not only be able to motor but to sail as fuel could be impossible to get, or put us into a situations where we would have to expose what we are doing in order to purchase fuel. That would not be stepping out in faith but financial suicide, and God is not calling us to do that. In the mean time the groundwork is moving forward and needs much more help in the finances, there is much to be done in Europe but far more needs to be arranged in Turkey and the Greek Islands.
I am asking everyone who is called to this Ministry to get on your face before God and pray about what your part is in his ministry, asking God to speak to you and give you a number, I pray you will be obedient. So much depends on your obedience.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
