Two elections and a civil war.

They said smile things could be worse, so I smiled and sure enough they got worse. Jews once said to each other, they can’t kill all of us, but they did kill 6 million of us before being stopped. In the 30’s the world didn’t really think Hitler was a threat to the Jewish people or the world for that matter, but he proved them wrong. He was a monster driven by the Devil himself. Today we have another one driven by the Devil his name is Ahmadinejad the President of Iran and when he continues to say that Israel will be wiped off the map, the UN and the world don’t think he is serious, but we Jews know that he is dead serious.
This past summer we just finished a war with Hezbollah in Lebanon that was totally backed and armed by Iran and Syria, and now they threaten to take over all of Lebanon giving Iran more of a power base in the Middle East.
Today we see Gaza erupt into civil war as the Iranian backed Hamas Terrorists takes over the PA turning all of Gaza into the world’s largest terrorist base in the Middle East. All the guns and armored vehicles that Bush has given the Fatah Terrorists has now or will soon fall in to the hands of Hamas, and guess who they will be aimed at, as if they were not already aimed at us.
On the streets of Gaza barbaric things are happening, when Hamas and Fatah capture one of the other they first torture them for games and then shot them in the legs and knee caps leaving them in the street to bleed to death. One report we have received is there has been occasions when Hamas gunmen took turns shooting a fallen Fatah member in the head until they had completely blew his head completely off. Another report in world news was the capture of a Fatah armed terrorist taken to the top of the highest building in Gaza hand cuffed tortured and then while still alive thrown off the building to his death 15 or so stories below. And these are the people Bush wants to give a state to in order to appease the Arab world at the expense of the only real friend the US has in the Middle East.
We have just went through two elections one for the head of the Labor Party and the other for the Presidency of Israel. Ehud Barak who was willing to give 98% of Judea and Samaria away to the enemies of God and who thought Arafat could be trusted. It is also worthy of noting that the only reason he won was the Israeli Arab vote. On the up side if there is one, he will now become the Defense Minister in the Olmert Government and as much as I hate to say it that is a great improvement over Peretz who lost coming in third place in the Labor elections. Barak is the most decorated IDF soldier in Israel.
And Shimon Peres who will be our 9th President at the age of 84, and by the way this is his 9th time to run for public office losing the first 8. I could write a book on Shimon Peres and all the charges that have been leveled against him up to an including treason and the murder of Rabin, which put him in the Prime Ministers office. Possibly the up side if there is one to this story is he is 84 and today sleeps through most meetings. But don’t under estimate his ability to be extremely evil.
We keep hearing that war is imminent this summer with Syria and Hezbollah, I can tell you this, IDF reservist who haven’t been called up for years are getting dates and orders to show up for a week’s training, that tells me volumes on what the IDF thinks is about to happen.
As is my customs I will end by telling you that we have a calling from God to be ready and time is running out, please pray about your part in this Ministry.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
