There is no comparison

For those of you who have been reading my reports over the years know I usually get around to looking behind the smoke screen. The problem is that sometimes the smokescreen is so terrible you have a hard time looking past them. But have you ever given any thought to the much larger problem? As a Jew and an Israeli I certainly don’t want to minimize what is happening here in Israel and in Lebanon, many are being killed and over a million in Israel are living in bomb shelters.
But all this is pale in comparison to what would happen if Iran were not stopped from getting nuclear weapons. As you know Iran is a main supplier to terrorist around the globe, and the main supporter of Hizbullah and Hamas. But it seems to me that they have been able to get a lot of attention off their nuclear program and put it on the Israeli and Hizbullah war. We all know that Hizbullah cannot agree to anything accept what Iran tells them to do. With that in mind it is only Iran who could have had them attack Israel causing this whole war, knowing it would cause terrible destruction to Lebanon. Hizbullah can’t be so stupid to have wanted the IDF and IAF to tear them to pieces; they had to be ordered to do that by Iran. And there can be but one reason, Iran wanted to get the world’s attention off their nuclear program just for a few weeks and that may well be all the time they need to finish what they need to accomplish. Can you even imagine Hizbullah or Hamas with a nuclear bomb? It would be a global nightmare and change this world like nothing any of us can imagine. I heard the Iranian President say that Israel has pushed the button of its own destruction, but by his own words he has brought that destruction upon his own head.
To keep this war going Hizbullah has ordered the Palestinian Islamic Jihad to open the 3rd front and the IDF has received hundreds of alerts of suicide bombers trying to get into our cities. Several have been stopped over the past few days; one lady was headed for the Tel-Aviv beach that is crowded with Israelis and tourist this time of the year.
We are always hearing on CNN & BBC that Lebanese civilians are being killed, and that only a few Israelis in comparison. But when you consider all of us here in Israel have bomb shelters or safe rooms to get into when we hear the sirens. The Arab Countries only build bomb shelters for the High Officials and Royal Families and to add insult to injury the Hizbullah Terrorists hide behind their civilians who have no bomb shelters.
Yesterday we had 90 katyushas rockets come into Israel and 90 of them hit our third largest city Haifa, killing 2 and wounding many. We have already lost many IDF soldiers while moving into southern Lebanon. Unlike the news media reports it is not a full-scale invasion and each unit of IDF soldiers usually only stay in a few hours and then returns with another few units going in to do the same thing.
When listening to the TV News we hear how barbaric the IDF is, and how we use so much disproportionate force. What you are not told is before we bomb a Hizbullah area we drop leaflets telling the civilians to leave the area. In contrast, Hizbullah targets our civilian populations wanting to cause as much causality as possible.
When the IDF finds wounded civilians more often than not they load them up and bring them to Israeli hospitals. When Hizbullah finds wounded Israelis they often torture them to death and then drag them through the streets passing out candy. It should also be mentioned that Israel has never started a war, but has always had to fight these Islamic monsters in self-defense.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers, pray for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
