God’s Wrath On Babylon-America Kindled?

A Prophetic Studies Analysis on

The Congressional Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007

by R.A. Coombes

Author of: "America, The Babylon" Vols 1 & 2

"And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."
"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." Revelation 17:6, 14
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. Revelation 18: 5, 20, 24

How does one begin to write an article describing the judgment that is about to befall one’s own nation? To be sure, those of us who are believers are to consider ourselves aliens to the world we live in, (see John 15:19 & 17:14 ) but it still boggles the mind to comprehend the latest move by the Congress of the United States, which declared war on God, His Word and war against the genuine church of Jesus Christ.
On Thursday, May 4th the United States House of Representatives passed House bill 1592 which is entitled:
“Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007”
There is a similar measure pending in the US Senate known as S.1105. It is expected to pass perhaps in the next few days.
Ironically, the House passed the bill on May 3, the same day that the nation celebrated as a “National Day of Prayer.” At first glance, the title of the measure would seem innocuous. No right thinking person would condone a ‘hate’ crime. Indeed, many hate the idea of the word “hate.” On its surface, a law against hatred would seem wonderful. The problem is that there is a place in our world for “hate” in one sense of the term. “Hate” in itself is not a sin. “Hate” can be a virtue, depending on its use.
It’s morally right to “hate” things are that are wrong. It’s okay to hate wrong deeds. It is okay to hate our own misdeeds and errors, but not to the point of self-flagellation. “Hate” is not necessarily a sin.
God hates sin. He has announced many activities and deeds that are simply wrong, among them, homosexuality. It is on the issue of homosexuality that the House voted to include as being protected against Hate Crime. Here again, the measure seems harmless and seemingly non-offensive to God by the measure of some people. Yet, God hates homosexuality as He hates ALL sin. The measure, in and off itself, then pits the nation against God but that’s not the ultimate problem.
The wording of the proposed law, if put into effect, would enable the courts a the discretion to outlaw “thoughts” and “speech” against homosexuality or for that matter against any religion. The ultimate purpose of the measure is to become a tool for use against God, the Bible and against Christianity. It will become the vehicle for imprisoning Christians who teach Biblical doctrines deemed by the courts to be “hate” doctrines.
The law will start out as an excuse to stop Churches from labeling homosexuality as a sin. It will not stop there. It will eventually be used to alter and destroy all Biblical doctrines and to destroy the genuine “body of Christ.” It will be used initially to censor words spoken from the pulpit or written down on paper or written in electronic format. Initially it will be applied to homosexual issues but it will eventually spread to other issues.
Now some readers here may think such thinking is alarmist. The Chicago Tribune’s coverage on this story however, notes that others also share this same view.
“…the bill, approved 237-180, were to become law, opponents say, a pastor could be held liable for giving a sermon against homosexuality if a listener later attacked a gay individual.…"This legislation strikes at the heart of free speech and freedom of religious expression," said Andrea Lafferty, executive director of the Traditional Values Coalition. "Statements critical of sexual orientation or gender identity can be prosecuted if those statements were part of the motivation of a person committing a crime against a homosexual or cross-dresser. ... Pastors' sermons can be considered hate speech under this bill."
James Dobson, of Focus on the Family echoed similar concerns.
“The Hate Crimes Act will be the first step to criminalize our rights as Christians to believe that some behaviors are sinful,” Dobson stated in a special message to potential petition signers.“Pastors preaching from Scripture on homosexuality could be threatened with persecution and prosecution,”
Dobson further said that the bill is “an attack on freedom of thought, freedom of conviction, and freedom of speech.”“Our opposing viewpoints to the homosexual agenda could eventually be silenced and punished,” the prominent evangelical leader said.He illustrated his point by referring to Pastor Ake Green of Sweden, who was sentenced to prison for preaching against homosexual behavior.Dobson also criticized the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which he noted “is equally or even more dangerous.”“ENDA could force even non-profit organizations – such as Focus on the Family Action or the Salvation Army – to hire homosexuals or individuals hostile to our firmly held moral beliefs,” he reported.“We cannot remain silent,” Dobson concluded. “It’s time for people of faith to draw a line in the sand and say ‘Enough is enough!” Link

Pastors could be thrown in jail for merely teaching the Bible’s views on homosexuality. That however, is just for starters. Eventually, other subjects and issues would be placed under the heading of “hate crimes” speech including the entire concept of sin – and even the need for salvation.
The whole idea behind the measure is to destroy Christianity and set the stage for a new world religion to promote the worship of the Antichrist. At the moment, the Church stands in the way of that goal and therefore the Church must be marginalized, initially, then ultimately outlawed. The House measure would begin that outlawing process in phases, as deemed by court rulings.
After the measure passed the House, news media sources cited a White House memo suggesting that President Bush may veto the bill, IF, the Senate passes a similar measure. Yet, the Chicago Tribune noted in its coverage on the story that a Presidential veto is not so certain. The Tribune ended its story by saying…
…”Just hours before the vote, the White House suggested the president was considering a veto…”
Chicago Tribune

Here is the actual White House statement on the measure

"The Administration favors strong criminal penalties for violent crime, including crime based on personal characteristics, such as race, color, religion, or national origin. However, the Administration believes that H.R. 1592 is unnecessary and constitutionally questionable. If H.R. 1592 were presented to the President, his senior advisors would recommend that he veto the bill."
This does not mean that the President will veto the bill. It only means that Bush’s advisors would recommend a veto.
While many are heralding the White House statement as proof that the President will veto the measure, the statement does not state concretely that the President will veto the measure. Even if he does veto the bill, the damage will be done. Congress will be on record, before God, approving legislation that is diametrically opposed to God.
It is also likely that if there is a veto, should the Democrats regain the White House in 2008, a similar law will pass in 2009 and be signed into law. Why? It’s what the New World Order wants and needs, to silence and eliminate the Church so that a new world religion can be instituted.
The New World Order wants a new global religion that will eventually focus on worshipping the Antichrist. To meet that goal, Christianity must be muzzled and eventually destroyed. The “Hate Crime” laws taking effect around the world are one of the key methods for muzzling the Church before the NWO begins destroying the Church.
God’s Reaction?

Based upon the theory that America is the Babylon of Revelation 17 and 18 there seems to be two possible responses.

#1. Immediate judgment on America:

It is entirely possible that legislation enacted by Congress, whether it is signed into law or not, may well trigger the first of 2 distinctly different judgments on Babylon, namely the “Fire” judgment which I have written on extensively in “America, The Babylon” Volumes 1 and 2. Based upon key timing points in the text, the first judgment brings the Antichrist to power just as Babylon get’s the fire judgment by Angelic forces – in one hour of one day – the same hour that Revelation 17:12-14 indicates the 10 horns vote the “beast” into power and they watch the fire eat and consume the “woman.”
Problem: The text of Revelation 17: 6 says the woman is drunk with the blood of the saints and the martyrs of Jesus. Revelation 18:24 also notes the blood of the prophets, saints and all that were slain on the Earth.
Opponents of the theory that Babylon is America, claim that America can’t be Babylon because America has never killed nor become drunk on the blood of saints, martyrs, prophets and “all that were slain on the Earth.”
Thus, to fulfill this part of the prophecy, America would need to kill Christians first.
There is a logical answer to this which comes in 2 parts.
#1. There are a handful of historians who have written documented proof that the real powers behind the US government, particularly in the 20th Century were responsible for Hitler, Stalin and Mao-Tse Tung. All three leaders killed millions of Christians, Jews and unbelievers all around the world. One researcher in particular, Dr. Antony Sutton has written several books outlining how the US bankers (in New York) put all three leaders into power and gave them their orders including the slaughter of millions of Christians. It is thought that Mao alone murdered as many as 40 million Chinese Christians in his takeover of China. We know Hitler murdered not only 6 million Jews but also Christians. Stalin was an equal opportunity murderer and may also have killed as many as 40 million people.
#2. These Illuminist bankers were also responsible for starting America’s Civil War, triggering WW1 as well WW2 and directed the slaughter of America’s native Indians.
Once, one understands the real history behind America and who really pulls the strings, one realizes that America is already drunk with the blood of many Christians, martyrs, but there’s another aspect to this that is often overlooked.
Take a closer look at Revelation 18:24 – the last phrase.
“all that were slain upon the earth.”
The key word is the Greek term – “esphagmenohn”
In the Greek grammar the word is a perfect participle, passive mood, genitive case, masculine in gender and plural. The point here is the fact that is is a perfect participle. A perfect participle begins at a point of time in the past and continues on to the present and continues on into infinity, never ending. Another key word is “ALL.” This is an encompassing all, which means you take it to the first point in time for the action. In this case, it goes all the way back to the first slain person in history, namely, Abel.
So that, Babylon, whoever Babylon is – according to Revelation 18:24 gets the blame for all those slain from Abel and throughout history. This is not unique in Biblical thinking. Jesus notes that the Pharisees and the Israelite generation who would soon kill Him would be guilty not only of His blood, but that of all the prophets who were ever killed. See Luke 11:47-51. They would be found guilty not only of the prophets but also of Abel, as co-murderers with Cain and Babylon. (but Babylon is still yet a hidden mystery during Jesus’ ministry).
So, based upon this understanding of how God assesses guilt to Babylon, IF America is Babylon, God holds Babylon-America guilty of Abel’s death as well as all others. Thus, there is not necessarily a need for God to wait for America to begin killing more Christians in America itself in order for the prophecy to be fulfilled. For indeed the blood on Babylon-America’s hands was assigned to her before her birth. Still, it is possible that God may yet also decide to allow Babylon-America to do more direct killing of Believers in America in the near future. I certainly wouldn’t rule it in or out.

-
#2. God waits to judge Babylon-America.

The reason for God waiting is to simply clarify America’s bloody hands before the cosmos, so that there can be no argument as to her guilt of bloodshed. He might simply let America kill the Christians living in America. This would come as a particular shock to Christians who consider themselves patriots under the idea that America is "God's favorite Gentile nation"
I do not know which of the two options God will ordain, but no doubt, it will be ordained and sooner or later, option number 1 will come forward, even if option number 2 is exercised first.
If option number 1 is chosen first, then I believe the Rapture of the Church as written in Revelation 18:4 will proceed first, before the first judgment falls upon Babylon.
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
This verse matches with First Thessalonians 4:16-17.
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
Revelation 18:4 is indicating the Rapture.
It is the command to come UP and OUT of her. Because of the Greek grammar, the Greek word used is to be understood directionally to go to where the speaker is, which is Up – followed by the same verb used a second time indicating OUT of Babylon and into the heavens where the speaker is.

So, before the first judgment is executed, there is supernatural evacuation which I believe is the Rapture of the Church. That also means there are still believers left alive in Babylon before the judgment begins. How soon after the removal of Believers will the judgment begin? This is hard to know.
Now, some may object to this interpretation by claiming that the verse is a direct reference to the Jews because of the term “My people.” There are two reasons why the verse is not referring to the Jews.
#1. The book of Revelation was NOT written to the Jews. It was written to the body of Christ, the Church.
#2. Nowhere in the book, do we find the term “My people” ever used to describe the Jews.
“My People” in the New Testament however does refer to the Church. See Romans 9:24-26. Here Paul indicates the Church is “My People”

“Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? “As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
“And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.”
Also Second Corinthians 6:16 The Church is “My people.”
“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
First Peter 2:9-10 The Church = peculiar people & “people of God.”
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”
“Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
And finally, Revelation 21:3
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”
So we do have precedence in the New Testament for the Church being called “My people.” Therefore, particularly in the context that the book of Revelation is written to The Church – “My People” that the term in Revelation 18:4 is a reference to the Church and to the rapture of the Church and not to the Jews.

So what then are we to conclude?

The Congress of the United States, by passing a law that is crafted to become a tool to destroy God’s Word and His People, will instead be the final straw or the last of the sins to reach heaven, as Revelation 18:5 puts it and God says, “enough.” Whether or not the New World Order is able to use such a law to begin killing American Christians before the Judgment is executed, remains to be seen, but the New World Order won’t get the job done of killing all American Christians before God intervenes and destroys Babylon-America.
