It’s not easy fighting an enemy who has no rules, no morals and no conscience. An enemy who trains it children from child birth that to die killing Jews and Christians will make them a Martyr and guarantee a place in Allah’s presence with 72 virgins. To wrap a bomb around yourself and kill innocent civilians will give your mother and father great honor that they will be able to stand before the community saying how proud they are of you. And all your family and friends will dance in the streets passing out candy over the Jews you have killed. How do we fight such an enemy? The fact is we best find out soon because they are real and they want your blood to spill on the streets.
Here in Israel we are constantly faced with trying to defend ourselves and not make the international community mad at us. As admirable as that may seen there is something very important missing with those two goals, neither of them is what God is calling us to do. For our first goal as Jews living in the land promised to us by God should be to be true to His Word in all that we do and in every action we take.
We are not fighting just any enemy, we are fighting the Devil himself, and this is the religion he has prepared for the past 1500 years for his last and final battle before being cast into the lake of fire forever. And you can believe it will be one hell of a fight for it will be hell on earth for us all before it’s over. I read articles that say this is not a carnal battle but a spiritual one, and they are right, it is a spiritual battle as far as you and me as individuals are concerned. How you and I react to circumstances will determine what kind of witness we are to those around us, but more important it will show your understanding of what salvation in Yeshua is really all about. That spiritual battle rages inside us. Paul spoke of the battle of the flesh against the spirit and we all know of this battle, but will become more aware of it as time goes by. As long as we are alive here on planet earth we have certain obligations towards each other and even more importantly to our families. Today the world can see that the Palestinians Authority (PA) is nothing more than a terrorist organization no different from Hamas or Hezbollah, and that Abbas who we are told we must negotiate with is the head of the PLO under the control of Fatah. The world is watching the battle unfold in Lebanon with Fatah and the Lebanese Army. These “Palestinian” refugee camps hold over 400,000 and are training camps for terrorist that will be coming to you soon, much like the one Bush and Sharon developed in Gaza with the Disengagement the difference is Gaza now has millions of very mad Moslems who want us all dead and Egypt, Iran and Syria are making sure they get all they need to wage their war against the IDF. For months now these Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians” have been shelling our southern city of Sderot, and now threaten to shell deep into Ashkelon and Beersheba. In Ashkelon there are some very important oil and electrical facilities that if hit will affect the entire country. After thousands of Jews have fled Sderot because this Olmert government has failed again to protect its citizens the IDF has now decided to make pin point strikes in defense of its citizens, while bloodthirsty Islamic murderers continue to shell our cities doing their best to kill civilians.
In the mean time the world sits still while Iran becomes a nuclear power and takes over the Arab world, forcing Israel to do what the free should have done. Then of course that same free would once again condemn Israel for doing it just like they did when we destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor.
But through it all two things remains constant, God’s Word and our salvation in Yeshua HaMashiach. And God’s Word assures me that Israel will be here when the Lord returns. In the mean time we have little choice but to follow God’s calling and prepare to rescue as many Jews who will be fleeing out of Europe as we possibly can. For those who God has called to this Ministry I will say once again we need a much larger boat, and if every one reading this would stop right now and pray I know God will speak to your heart an soul telling you what He would have you to do. Gen. 12:3 never has anyone been called to a ministry closer to God’s heart than to touch the Apple of His Eye.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
