Analysis Indicates Prospects For Unprecedented Forthcoming Terrorist Assault

By Bill Wilson, KIN Senior Analyst

WASH—May 22—KIN-- An analysis of recent events in the Middle East, Europe and the United States could suggest that al Qaeda and other terrorist groups will mount an unprecedented assault in the coming weeks and months. The Democratic led U.S. Congress has signaled that the U.S. wishes to unconditionally pull out of Iraq, the place the terrorists view as the front against the fight with America. At the same time, Congress is debating sweeping new immigration reforms that are terrorist-friendly because of blanket amnesty to illegal aliens. News in Europe suggests Britain may also be withdrawing from Iraq, while terrorist organizations in the Middle East have launched attacks in many hot spots.

Hamas has been shelling Israeli towns from its southern stronghold in Gaza for the past three weeks. Syria and Iran have been arming Hezbollah terrorists to the North of Israel under the watchful, if uncaring, eye of United Nations peacekeeping forces. Now al Qaeda-backed fighting has broken out in Lebanon. Farid Ghadry, of the U.S.-based Reform Party of Syria, has been warning for quite some time that the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria are training and recruiting compounds for al Qaeda terrorists who are now fighting in Lebanon under the name Fatah al Islam. This group and Hezbollah are Iranian back terror organizations wishing to take over Lebanon and attack Israel.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard sponsors some 20 terrorist training camps; among them are the Qods Force, which has infiltrated government and community positions in Iraq. Iran is using the Qods Force to forge relationships with al Qaeda Iraq and other militant terror groups. The Guardian, a London newspaper, reports that U.S. officials in Iraq are preparing for a summer assault there by Iranian-backed terror groups. A U.S. official told the Guardian that Iran is fighting a proxy war in Iraq and is increasing its high-profile terrorist attacks against U.S. and British troops in preparation for a summer showdown with coalition forces intended to tip a wavering U.S. Congress into voting for full military withdrawal.

The Islamists are not an independent, law-breaking rag tag band of radicals. They are well-funded, well-trained Islamists who infiltrate territories and use terror to impose their fascist will on the world. And they are becoming more emboldened as the politicians seek to appease them. The Lord warned in Leviticus 26:25, “I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of My covenant: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.” The terrorist attacks will expand to our borders if Americans, whose nation was founded in covenant with God, continue to try to appease evil and live immorally.
