Is Annapolis a Betrayal, Delusion, or Bluff?

Greetings my friends,

Like many of you who understand the 1948 return of the natural Jews to their God-given homeland to be the fulfillment of Bible prophecy which began the countdown of the "last" days, I am amazed, frustrated, and somewhat bewildered by the actions of President Bush and Secretary Rice at Annapolis last November. For they continue to insist that a two state solution is the only path for peace between the Palestinians and Israel.

Furthermore, I know that several well-known prophecy teachers have met with Bush and Rice over the years since 9/11, warning them that a nuclear World War III begins when Russia, Iran, and other Moslem nations invade Israel, causing one-fourth of mankind to perish. Some of these teachers think America will be destroyed from coast to coast in this war or right before it, leaving Israel alone against the rest of the world. The latest news from the nuclear armed Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, only proves that fear of a nuclear war is driving the policies of America and its allies. I have said and written many times over the years that the world will be brought to the brink of a nuclear nightmare becoming reality and then the infamous Antichrist will establish peace between the Islamic, Christian, and Jewish people.

One of at least three things is happening here when Bush and Rice continue to offer an Islamic Palestinian state in the heart of Israel where all Jews, both living and dead, are to be "ethnically cleansed" from their land as they were in Gaza. The hypocrisy of this is maddening when you hear Bush and Rice appealing to all ethnic groups in other war-torn nations to find ways to live and accept one another, and their differences, in the spirit of freedom and democracy.

President Bush has declared that a comprehensive settlement is to be finalized by the end of 2008. The next major summit or conference in this Annapolis process is to be held in Russia. America's cold war opponent for a generation, is now becoming a peacemaker. What an astounding turn of events. I have been writing for thirty years now that the day would come when Russia and America, the two "little horns" of Daniel's prophecies, would bring an "ecumenical" peace to the nations that averts the horror of a nuclear World War III.

The first of three conclusions is that Bush and Rice have rejected the "literal" interpretation of the Jewish prophecies of World War III over Israel that was presented to them, and have secretly joined with the oil-rich Moslems in the dismantling, destruction, and betrayal of the Jewish state. If this conclusion is correct they have determined that Israel as a "Jewish" state has caused the world too many problems and its very existence is a threat to their plans for a New World Order, or as some would interpret, the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. To them, God's land promises to the natural Jews in the Old Testament were given to the Gentiles when the Jews rejected Jesus Christ.

The second conclusion is similar to the first in that Bush and Rice have become religiously delusional by thinking Moslems, Christians, and Jews can reform their own hearts and religions to join with others in producing an "Alliance of Civilizations" that establishes peace among all nations. We all should know by now that it is impossible to remove the hate, pride, and self-exalting lusts that are in everyone's heart at birth, which influence every decision we make in this life, even that which we think is right and good. Only Jesus Christ has the power to give us new hearts that are free from the control of our sin nature. All men can do apart from Jesus is soften or harden the intensity of the sin that is within us, that condemns mankind to an eternal Hell.

Moreover, Annapolis was used to isolate and target Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas with Osama Bin Laden as the main proponents of radical Islam, thereby giving so-called "moderate" Islamic nations attending Annapolis a cover to join America in deterring or even destroying these deadly radicals. This too would constitute a rejection of the Jewish prophecies in that Russia is not targeted for deterrence or destruction, but is invited to join in the alliance against the radicals. This all means certain war with Iran and its friends unless the Iranian leadership is changed from within or the current regime change their minds, knowing they have no hope in defeating even an over-extended American military machine, so they decide to join the peace process. Does that mean Iran's hard-line President would take back his words to..."wipe Israel off the map"? You would think so. This monumental change of either leadership or attitude would even include their agreement with America and Israel for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple next to the Dome of the Rock Mosque on the Temple Mount. Wouldn't that bring about rejoicing in this world as the threat of a nuclear war is finally over? But is it really over or just treacherously postponed?

The third conclusion is that Bush and Rice, having been warned by Christian prophecy teachers, agree with their outline of coming events in the Holy Land, and in conjunction with Jewish leaders decided to bluff and offer the Moslems "the moon" if they will only accept a tiny Israel as a "Jewish" state. This would mean they have concluded Islam is incapable of ever reforming itself into accepting a Jewish state, because by doing so would be dishonoring and disobeying Allah and their prophet Mohammed. Agreeing to and signing a temporary "hudna" or truce to re-group and re-arm is one thing for fundamentalist Moslems, but telling all the world they accept a permanent Jewish state in the land they consider their own is out of the question according to Bush and Rice. But what if these Islamic leaders believe Allah allows them to lie and deal treacherously in order to seduce their Jewish enemies, then attack them later when their guard is down?

This bluff also means Bush and Rice are pre-empting the coming Russian/Islamic invasion (World War III) of Israel thinking this will hold back the establishment of the coming Antichrist, who they have been told will come from Islam or Europe, who is sympathetic to Islam and has a history of persecuting the Jewish people. For when the Islamic states reject Bush's unbelievably generous offer and blame it on Israel, and refuse to "sign" their names before all the cameras of the nations, more Islamic terrorism is sure to begin. This will give Israel and America all the justification they need in the eyes of the world to once and for all take down the Islamic terror machine, and by force and regime change reform the Islamic religion and nation-states that refused to sign the Peace Covenant.

By striking Iran and Syria before they are ready with Russia to invade Israel, they think they are pre-empting and stopping World War III, which Bush has warned might happen if Iran is allowed to possess nuclear weapons. Once again, what if Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas change their minds after consulting with Russia, and decide to join the peace process started at Annapolis? How will Bush, Rice, Israel, and the prophecy teachers react if their bluff is called?

Whatever conclusion of the three is true or mixture thereof, there is coming soon to the Holy Land a Peace Covenant which will be signed by Syria, Iran, Russia, and many others, that allows for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. The most important and powerful signature will be that of the last American President, and then many, including Jews, will "begin" to look at him as the Savior or Messiah of the nations. Some in the Moslem world will look upon the Russian President as the Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah. To all of them the Kingdom of Heaven has begun with the "spirits" of Jesus and Allah working together through the American and Russian presidents. Know this, if this Peace Covenant is signed next year it will only take place if the Lord Jesus Christ has removed his restraining hand, allowing Satan and his fallen angels to establish their counterfeit Kingdom of Heaven.

Remember, the combined power of the precious blood and second coming of Jesus Christ is the "only" permanent solution to the deception, death, and destruction that men and governments inflict upon one another to the hideous delight of their fallen angel masters. The God who created and loves you wants you to soften your heart and experience sorrow of a Godly kind that works repentance unto the salvation of your heart, mind, and body, 2 Corinthians 7:10. He will replace your genuine sorrow with his joy by giving you a new heart full of his faith and truth! He will live within you! This is the heart of the New Testament teachings from which all things become new in our inner man. Once this happens you will desire to obey the God of Israel because you love him, knowing that he first loved you and sent his Son to save you from your sins and the bondage of the fallen angels.

This message of love and salvation is offered to President Bush and Secretary Rice as the Lord Jesus shed his blood for all people. Therefore, it is wrong for any of us to "despise" or dishonor the civil leaders who are temporarily allowed by God to rule the nations. We honor them as souls for whom Jesus died, but not the sinful and rebellious behavior they are carrying out among the nations. The old saying...love the sinner and hate their sin...is something we all need to remember, don't you think?

Largest flood in Washington State's history followed by the largest ice storm and power outage in Oklahoma's history

In 10 days, the United States experienced the largest flood in the state of Washington’s history, hurricane-force winds up to 127 mph in Oregon, I-5 between Seattle and Portland was closed for five days, and a massive ice storm hit America’s heartland — causing chaos, a travel gridlock and over 1 million homes and businesses to lose their power. Also, the largest ice storm in Oklahoma history produced the largest power outage in that state's history.

In 10 days, President Bush declared major FEMA disasters for Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma and Kansas — and is expected to do the same for Missouri, Iowa and Illinois.

These were two separate, back-to-back, $1 billion-plus disasters bringing the 2007 total to four billion-dollar disasters that coincided with U.S. pressure on Israel to divide her land.

Chronology

Monday, Nov. 26: President George W. Bush hosted Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House in preparation for the Annapolis Conference.

That night, he welcomed 49 nations to the U.S. State Department in town for the Annapolis Conference. He said, "Achieving this goal requires neighbors committed to peace between Israel and a new Palestinian state — and I'm encouraged by the presence of so many here."

Tuesday, Nov. 27: President Bush opened the Annapolis Conference, saying, "We appreciate you joining us in what I believe is an historic opportunity to encourage the expansion of freedom and peace in the Holy Land."

Wednesday, Nov. 28: President Bush invited Olmert and Abbas to the White House for joint meetings and a closing statement with the world press in attendance. He said, "And one thing I've assured both gentlemen is that the United States will be actively engaged in the process, that we will use our power to help you as you come up with the necessary decisions to lay out a Palestinian state that will live side by side in peace with Israel."

Thursday, Nov. 29: U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza met with the leaders of 18 American Jewish organizations to assure them that the Bush administration will not pressure Israel but, rather, facilitate talks between the two sides.

Ynet reported that along with her calming words for the leaders, Rice reminded them that President Bush has been the friendliest president towards Israel in American history, and that Israel should therefore accelerate talks with Palestinians to achieve as much as possible while Bush still sits in the White House.

Friday, Nov. 30: AccuWeather: "It's hard to believe how much energy is available for storms right now. Not only one, but two major disturbances will impact various parts of the country within the next 72 hours."

Saturday, Dec. 1: AccuWeather: "Two very potent winter storm systems are affecting the country today: one in the Northeast, and one in the Pacific Northwest. Both systems contain a great deal of snow and wind."

Sunday, Dec. 2: Ha'aretz reported the fourth earthquake in two weeks. It shook parts of Israel on Sunday, but caused no casualties or damage. Israel's Geophysical Institute stated that the tremor, which was felt in Holon and Jerusalem, had a magnitude of 4.0. on the Richter Scale. Its epicenter was north of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, on the active Syrian-African rift fault line where earthquakes are common.

Sunday, Dec. 2: Winter storm systems moved into the Northeast and the Pacific Northwest.

Monday, Dec. 3: Olmert spoke to the Knesset: "Greater Israel" was and is a magnificent idea; however, after losing 6 million of our people, there was a need to come to terms with what could be achieved then, and to establish a state. This is the truth. Because the only choice left to us today, just as it was 60 years ago, is between a Jewish state in part of the Land of Israel and a bi-national state in all of the Land of Israel. This is the choice today as well — two states, Jewish and Palestinian, for there is no other way.

Monday, Dec. 3: President Bush met with U.S.-Palestinian public-private partnership, saying: The partnership is aimed at promoting economic opportunity and leadership development for Palestinian youth. And so Walter Isaacson and the other leaders here have outlined a strategy to us as to how we can make sure our USAID money and our OPIC money can be leveraged with private participation to help the Palestinians develop a civil society that is a key part of making sure that the vision of two states living side by side in peace becomes a reality.

Monday, Dec. 3: AccuWeather: Northern New England received more than a foot of snow through Tuesday. Schools from New York to Maine were canceled because of slick roads and 40-mph winds that have created near-blizzard conditions in some parts of New England.

Hurricane-force winds gusting to 100 mph were reported along the Oregon coast, with the highest reading at 129 mph at Bay City, the National Weather Service said. Massive rains produced flooding.

The governors of Washington and Oregon declared states of emergency, which could speed relief efforts in flood-hit areas.

Tuesday, Dec. 4: AccuWeather: "The storm system that pummeled parts of Washington and Oregon on Monday will hang around for one more day. The good news is that this system will not pack nearly as much of a potent punch as it did yesterday."

Wednesday, Dec. 5: AccuWeather: "The flooding that has inundated the Northwest, greatly impacting lives and travel, will be part of historical records. Rivers have either risen to or will exceed record levels set during a 1996 storm."

Damage could be in the billions of dollars, Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire said Wednesday.

Friday, Dec. 7, 2007: Herb Keinon of The Jerusalem Post wrote: Israel and the U.S. are heading for a showdown over construction in Jerusalem's Har Homa neighborhood, as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday that building there does not help create confidence in peace negotiations, and Construction and Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim responded that the construction will continue.

Rice said, "There just shouldn't be anything that might try and judge final status, the outcomes of final status negotiations. It's even more important now that we are really on the eve of the beginning of those negotiations."

Saturday, Dec. 8: President Bush declared a federal FEMA disaster for 11 counties in the Pacific Northwest. Oregon and Washington saw severe flooding, landslides and mudslides as the result of storms that hit the coast Dec. 1-3.

A new wave of storms: A first wave of low pressure, which developed across the southwest on Dec. 8, produced light freezing rain through much of the Midwest and southern Ontario on Dec. 9.

Sunday, Dec. 9: An ice storm slickened roads and sidewalks, grounded hundreds of flights, and cut power to tens of thousands in a swath from the Southern Plains to the Great Lakes as even colder weather threatened.

More than 130,000 customers lost power in Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois and Kansas, utilities reported. Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, one of the nation's busiest, canceled more than 400 flights. The airports in Kansas City, Mo., and St. Louis also canceled several flights.

Monday, Dec. 10: On the eve of the first peace talks in nearly seven years, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert promised to "forge a historic path" toward a final settlement with the Palestinians.

A second stronger storm developed across the southwest on Dec. 10 and gave significant snows to the higher elevations of Arizona near Flagstaff as well as in Colorado. It then produced a significant swath of ice across much of the Middle Plain States. More than 700,000 homes and businesses were without power in the Midwest. Oklahoma's governor declared statewide disaster.

Tuesday, Dec. 11: President Bush signed a federal emergency disaster declaration. This was the federal response to the ongoing and sweeping ice storm affecting the Midwest that began on Dec. 8, 2007, and affected all 77 counties in Oklahoma.

"This is a big one. We've got a massive situation here, and it's probably going to be a week to 10 days before we get power on to everybody," said Ed Bettinger, a spokesman for Public Service Company of Oklahoma. "It looks like a war zone."

Nearly 600,000 Oklahoma homes and businesses still had no electricity Tuesday, most of them since Monday when power lines began snapping under the weight of ice and falling branches — the biggest power outage in state history. Utilities in Missouri reported about 170,000 homes and business without power. Outages elsewhere affected more than 100,000 customers in Kansas, more than 60,000 in Iowa and nearly 18,000 in Illinois.

Wednesday, Dec. 12: Israeli and Palestinian negotiating teams met in Jerusalem for their first official meeting towards a permanent peace agreement since 2001. In their 90-minute meeting, they argued over Israel's Jerusalem construction and Hamas rockets being fired from Gaza.

Wednesday, Dec. 12: Rice: Bush to take a more active role in Middle East peace process. Secretary of State Rice told USA Today that President Bush would be visiting the region because "he very much wants to signal support for the bilateral process between the parties and to continue in a hands-on way to encourage them to move forward."

Still, she described that approach as not one that says "All right, I'm going to go ahead and fix this for you," but one emphasizing talking to the parties, in which "he'll be able to get a strong sense of where the points of convergence are that maybe they won't see, and where the points are divergence are as well."

Wednesday, Dec. 12: About 468,000 homes and businesses in Oklahoma still had no power — the state suffering its worst power outage on record. Utility officials said it could be a week to 10 days before power is fully restored.

Elsewhere, around 228,000 customers were still blacked out in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. Kansas' tally had risen sharply — to 130,000 on Wednesday from Tuesday's 15,000 — as rural electric cooperatives reported in and falling branches brought down more power lines.

Thursday, Dec. 13: In Oklahoma, at least 315,000 homes and businesses were still without power, officials said. In Missouri, about 35,000 customers remained in the dark, said Al Butkus, spokesman for utility Aquila Inc.

Friday, Dec. 14: The second wintry blast could complicate efforts to restore power to the more than 280,000 homes and businesses in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri still blacked out after the first storm put a million customers in the dark at its height this week.

Utilities in the Plains said nearly 400,000 customers remained without power on Friday due to ice storms this week. Electric companies reported that more than 800,000 of the 1.2 million customers who lost power have had it restored.

Saturday, Dec. 15: Oklahoma utilities said about 181,000 homes and businesses still had no electricity. Some 62,000 were still blacked out in Kansas, and Missouri utilities reported about 27,000 customers still off line.

It’s being reported that during Bush’s visit here next week that it will not be the IDF, Mossad, Israeli Police or Shem Bet who protects him in Ramallah but Abbas’s Fatah Organization. That means that Bush will be surrounded by terrorists from the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade an organization on the US terrorists list. A terrorist group within Fatah that has killed more Israelis than Hamas has. Bush’s protector will be Abbas the head of the PLO and other terrorist organizations.

This brings up an obvious observation, why would the PLO, Fatah, Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade want to keep Bush alive. But then the answer is also obvious and I hope you haven’t missed it. They know that it is only through Bush and his Saudi Peace Plan (Road Map) that they have any chance of destroying Israel. They know it, we know it and everyone who cares to know it understands what Bush is trying to accomplish and why.

What is also disturbing is there are still so many “Christians” in the US who are Bush supporters. The reason it is so disturbing is if they are “Christians” then they have or should have read God’s Word the Bible and know what happens to any nation or person who comes against Jerusalem or Israel. The truth is their concern is not their relationship with God but their misguided trust in a government that has gone astray. Their god is not the God of the Bible, but material things, they know the Prophetic Word of God yet they will only accept that which is pleasing and feeds their bellies. While Pastors stand behind pulpits every Sunday and preach messages that deny the truth of the reality of Israel and God’s Word, preaching a message of replacement theology, more interested in keeping their high paying salary and entertaining the congregation with programs and building projects while the rest of the world is going to hell in a hand basket.

There are still many true Believers in God’s Word and know Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah but for the most part they lack the conviction to stand up for what they believe. As Islam moves forward killing Believers around the world by the tens of thousands daily they somehow believe it won’t come to them, but they are mistaken. For even as you read this Islam the Devils plan is knocking on their front doors.

God is not only concerned about what you say and do where you live, but if you know His Word you know you should love and support Israel for it is the Jew and Israel He has chosen to bring His Word and final acts to the Human Race, for God will certainly stand true to His Word and He will bless those who bless Israel and curse them who curse Israel. Gen. 12:3.

As for the US and President Bush, judgment is coming and it won’t be long. You should be thanking God every day for giving you another chance to act on what you believe and bless God by being obedient to His call on you life.

As we look for nuclear or chemical attacks in the US Cities we may be over looking another real possibility of destroying the US economy. It has occurred to me that there must be a reason that Bush suddenly pulled back from calling Iran a nuclear threat. He has openly stated that his intelligence for the past few years has been wrong and that Iran has stopped building the bomb several years ago. This is what I think has happened for what that is worth. Russia has told Bush that if he attacks Iran they would consider it an attack on Russia. China has told bush that if he attacks Iran they will call in all their debt and drop all the dollars they now hold, and that would be disaster to the US economy and cause bankruptcy. And a country with all its troops over seas and in total bankruptcy could not fight such a war. Bush now has found himself caught between his friends the Saudis and the threats of Russia and China all this spells the end for the USA. The bottom line is you best do what you can with what you have and I wouldn’t wait around to long in doing it. But better advice would be to get on your face before God and ask Him what He would have you do.

For those of us who have been called by the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) to a ministry we best have tunnel vision and be about the Father’s business. Keeping in mind that God’s timing and His ways are not ours, so don’t do anything foolish and remember that you must protect your family to the best of your ability but without God’s leading even that could cause you to do foolish things.

For me and my family and those who God has called to this Ministry we will keep going forward for we have heard very clearly from God and know we must save those who we can. We need to purchase the larger boat and if those reading this would reach deep in their pockets that could be a reality in time, if not we will do the best we can with what we now have. God knows each of us and more important He knows our hearts so if you have done what you believe to be all you can do, God will be pleased with you, success is not measured in heaven as it is here on earth.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
